Jason Brown Independent for Queensland Senate

My name is Jason Brown, and I have lived in Proserpine for 23 years. I love the great outdoors – camping, fishing, boating and hiking. I grew up in Mackay, where I made lifelong friends and was active in sports. Today, I enjoy taking long walks with my dog, Luna. Like many in our region, I have worked hard in industries that keep North Queensland moving. I started out building the Proserpine Dam with my Dad, then a few jobs in between transitioned to coal mining before shifting to rail maintenance and eventually settling in Proserpine. Along the way I've made great friends, and now, I hope to make them – and my community – proud by standing as an independent candidate for Queensland Senate in the upcoming election.
